Investigating patterns and driving factors of beta diversity in reef fishes from different depth gradients and geographic locations in the Atlantic.

A database will be built from pre-existing data and analyzed by statistical methods to investigate the beta diversity and its components among reef fishes in the Atlantic. All statistical analyses will be carried on with R and.
Beta diversity values will be calculated with the betapart package in R. A database will be built and further analyzed the significance with ANOVA and followed up with a post hoc test. Further on a linear model will be created to investigate the correlations between the variables.
